Responsibilities:

• Establish sound investment accounting process to report and analyse investment results (including derivatives) timely and accurately;
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and relevant regulatory requirements;
• Being able to report under various accounting bases for all investment assets under companies’ books; provide required management information;
• Follow up any issues and questions with custodian and fund managers;
• Deal with auditors to ensure no major issues;
• Deal with custodian to ensure the services quality
• Support new investment mandates, new investment managers and new investment initiatives (including derivatives) by establishing sound operating process with custodians, banks and fund managers.
• Enhance process with external service provider (custodian) on fund accounting and with fund managers on process
• Enhance the reporting process to cater increasing reporting demand and timeline from head office and regional head office
• Support and participate investment related projects including investment administration and accounting system, implementation of new chart of accounts, solvency balance sheet requirement, etc.
• Team members: support to other team members
• Staff development: being able to lead, manage and coach subordinates and to maintain low turnover and high scope result.

Qualifications:

• University graduate or above in Accounting or Finance Certified Public Accountant or equivalent
• At least 6 - 7 years accounting experience
• Knowledge of international accounting standards
• Responsible, independent, well organized, attentive to details
• Good supervisory and communication skills
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
