Job Description

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead the Asia finance team which is responsible for (i) general accounting and accounts payable functions, (ii) preparation of financial statements, (iii) group reporting, (iv) expense controlling, and (v) financial planning & analysis for 6 Asian entities.
  • Present quarterly financial performance and positions, and facilitate group reporting and financial statements sign-off, to leaders of the Asia office. 
  • Monitor and prepare monthly expenses reports.  Provide regular update, highlight trending, and propose recommendations to leaders of the Asia office.
  • Manage performance of a team of two accountants.
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors with respect to audit, financial and transfer pricing issues.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and assignments, if necessary.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Qualified accountant with 5-10 years’ solid experience in financial accounting, expense controlling and financial reporting & analysis.
  • Degree in accountancy, business administration or management related discipline
  • Strong communication skills with good command of English and Chinese
  • Self-motivated and strong analytical mind, well-organized and attention to details
