Job Description

 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing strategic projects within the organization. They will work closely with senior leadership to define project goals, create project plans, allocate resources, and ensure that projects are completed on time with good quality.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead the Project Management Office of the company by formulating the project governance, overseeing the project portfolios, and implementing continuous process improvement
  • Perform regular reporting of company’s portfolio of projects to the Board, Executive Committee and Group Office
  • Drive the delivery of large-scale programs by demonstrating effective communication and collaboration with group office, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives
  • Manage and plan projects from inception to completion, ensuring the alignment with the company overall goals and objectives including market analysis, financial, operational, and legal assessments
  • Develop detailed project plans including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, benefit tracking and risk management strategies
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to project teams to ensure high performance and engagement

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years solid experience in insurance industry
  • Proven experience in management a project management office and strategic projects within a complex and dynamic business environment
  • Strong understanding of project management and best practices
  • Outstanding communication skills in verbal and written with proven experiences in delivering communications at multiple levels form working to C-levels
  • Must be fluent in English, Putonghua, and Cantonese
  • Strong project planning, financial monitoring, risk management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
